The hawk
The hungry hawk tumbles backwards and takes a deep breath in, knowing it won’t be able to fly fast enough to catch the field mouse it had been chasing earlier.
The hawk crashes into the sharp pine trees branches not been able to be seen. Seconds later it flings out of the pine trees with its powerful dark brown wings creating a gush of wind blowing the long grass away to find his field mouse once again....
Within seconds the hawk swoops down with his sharp claws and and strong legs ready to grab the little frightened tan field mouse.
His scaly fish like feet and sharp hook like beak now covered in dark blood,he lifts off the ground.Now his black beady eyes scan looking for his next feast. He soars quietly until he finds his next feast then.....
Paua is a Maori name.the aua is the colour of a rock so itcamouflages in the rocks.it eats the elegy on the rock to suvive
